Thomas Edison’s To-Do List

Thomas Edison’s To-Do List

Many people argue whether a To-Do list is effective or not. I haven’t done any scientific experiments to come up with a conclusion but I have an example to prove it is effective. Thomas Edison, the fourth most prolific inventor in history thus a ridiculously busy man, created a 5 page To-Do list handwritten in January of 1,888 when Edison was 40 years old.

The list include many devices that greatly influenced life around the world and a few of the 1,093 US patents under his name. He is credited with numerous inventions that contributed to mass communication and telecommunications. These included: a stock ticker, a mechanical vote recorder, a battery for an electric car, electrical power, recorded music and motion pictures.
